From here, you will learn about a range of different approaches to counselling including Gestalt, Transactional Analysis and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy. You will also explore how Systemic Family Therapy can be used for working with couples.
By the end of the programme, you will have covered core humanistic counselling theory and explored a range of different approaches to psychotherapy.
About Level 3
Our Level 3 courses are unique in that they allow you to build on your knowledge of Level 1 and 2 courses. Each course you complete earns credit towards your Level 3 qualification which is then combined with a summative exam to demonstrate your knowledge.
All 20 credits of the compulsory modules must be completed.
40 credits from the elective modules must be completed.
Our summative exam validates the knowledge you have acquired while completing the diploma. It is a 90-minute online exam consisting of 50 multiple-choice questions. The exam tests you on the compulsory modules and the pass mark is 70%. Once you have an exam voucher, you can take the exam at a time that suits you. Learn more about exams.

Do I need to complete all modules with Holbeck College?
No, you can complete courses with our partner organisations and then submit your certificate of completion just as you would training directly with us.
